Grow Your Credit I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T-L-Y
In today’s credit-driven society, your credit score dictates more than the obvious factors of interest rates and your approval or denial of loans. Now, your credit score determines your auto insurance rates, your ability to obtain an apartment, and it may even affect your employment! Grown Woman University's Credit Class was created for women who desire to restore or build their credit scores.
According to the Washington Post, the statistics concerning African Americans are alarming. Studies have shown a consistent gap between the credit scores of white and black Americans; this gap continues to widen. New data collected by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) shows African Americans are more likely to pay high interest rates and suffer more negative consequences of debt than other racial groups. Moreover, women are negatively affected even more so than their male or non-minority counterparts. That’s where the idea of GWU was conceived and came into existence.
Grown Woman University's Credit Class seeks to shatter these statistics. It’s primary focus is to help women grow/restore their credit, and ultimately build wealth. This beginner’s course will provide you with the basic information needed to grow your credit score quickly. So the question is.....ARE YOU READY TO GROW?!?
Upon enrolling in Grown Woman U-niversity, students will be granted access to a private online community with a curriculum through which they will receive financial education and resources from experts in the areas of credit restoration and financial literacy.
